THE PRODUCTIVE PROCESS OF CITRUS FRUITS

Once the fruit has been picked it is quickly taken to destination, the citrus fruits that are due to go to the wholesale fruit and vegetables markets are first taken to our warehouses to under go various phases of preparation; where they are adequatly selected for their quality, size and type.

To assure ourselves that every step of preparation is up to standard, regarding quality, hygiene and food safety, the F. Zuccarello S.N.C. enforces the use of codification process which guarantees absolute conformity of the product requested by the client..

The fruit must under go various phases of preparation before reaching the buyer these are: selecting and classificating, washing, waxing, calibrating and finally packing to the buyers request.
